We have outlined below how to apply for places in our Nursery, Reception and throughout the school year.
Nursery & Little Pips Admissions
We manage our own Nursery & Little Pips admissions directly through the school. click below to grow your child's learning in our Early years Orchard:
If you would like to visit our Nursery or Little Pips setting please email the school office to arrange a tour. (info@appletreegfs.org.uk)
Reception Admissions
Applications for reception places are handled by North Tyneside Council. To apply for your place visit: School admissions / North Tyneside Council
Applications are now open and will close on the 12th January 2026. If your child currently attends our Nursery, please note that a separate application must still be made for reception.
In Year Admissions
If you wish to apply for a place at Appletree Gardens First School during the school year, this is known as an In - Year Admission. These applications are also managed by North Tyneside Council. Apply online here: In Year Admissions
Out of Year and Special Circumstances
Every child's learning journey is unique. If you are applying outside your child's usual age group or your child has additional needs or an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), please email us directly. Our SEND co-ordinator will guide you through the next steps with care and understanding.
