Pupil voice

The School Council
The School Council is an important group of pupils from all classes who help Mrs Bruce and our staff grow and celebrate Appletree First. This year we are changing our school council representatives every term to ensure lots of pupils can share and enjoy this responsibility.
The Blossom Buddies
The Blossom buddies support the school to promote, monitor and develop the BLOSSOM code. Each term each class chooses new BLOSSOM buddies to help us with our mission. This year BLOSSOM buddies have supported behaviour at line up time, organised a mental health day and a comic relief fundraiser.
The Eco- Warriors
Every term two children from each class in key stage one and key stage two join Mr Dent on his eco- mission. Daily duties include managing the waste in classrooms including taking the fruit leftovers to the compost bin and recycling paper products. This year wider duties have been to develop podcasts, theme days including 'earth day', deliver a presentation at a North East summit and organise litter picks in the community. We are proud holders of the Eco Flag for all our hard work.
