Year Four

During our WW2 History session, the children work in small groups to make stretchers for wounded soldiers. The children used their knot tying skills and knowledge of winding/weaving to complete the task.
The children enjoyed cracking codes at the start of their session. They learnt the importance of getting the code correct and the speed needed. There were three mistakes to find throughout this task. The winners, won themselves extra fire pit rations.
This Autumn we have been busy making clay vases as part of our enterprise project. These we so fun to make.
We end each session with a fire pit and we cook our snack. Sometimes it’s a shop bought treat like crumpets but normally we make our food from scratch or as close as possible.
